In July, the Easton Courier wrote up a lovely piece about the partnership between Back Yard Beekeepers Association and Aspetuck Land Trust. This summer BYBA board member David Blocher has been working at the Aspetuck Land Trust’s Randall’s Farm Preserve to establish a queen rearing yard.
This partnership has been a great success providing a place to have 2 classes on queen rearing and allowing us to offer some varroa sensitive queens to BYBA members for purchase.
