About the Speaker
For the past 18 years, Jennifer Berry has been the Apicultural Research Professional and Lab Manager for the University of Georgia Honey Bee Program. Her research objectives have focused on improving honey bee health, the sub-lethal effects of pesticides on beneficial insects and IPM techniques for varroa and small hive beetle control. Jennifer is also the owner / operator of Honey Pond Farm a small, honey bee operation located outside of Comer, Georgia, which is also home of the Honey Pond Whiskey Distillery.
Join members of the 300+ strong Back Yard Beekeepers Association in a course designed to provide the complete novice with all the information needed to get started keeping bees this spring.
Our general membership meetings are held on the last Tuesday of most months at 7:30 PM at the Norfield Church in Weston, CT.
